Aster Bunnymund, Jackson Overland Frost, Greenvella Durine Frost, Noelle Miss North, Sanderson Mansnoozie, Nicholas St. North, Toothiana, Summer Juliet Ray, Ombric Shalazar, Katherine Shalazar, Nightlight, the Yetis, the Elves, the Strawberry Armies, the Egg Armies, the Firefly Armies, the Baby Teeth, the Man in the Moon, himself, and the Children of Burgess were having a Christmas Ball, before North left the Pole to deliver presents to the children of the world.     It was a beautiful spring morning in the Warren that day. The sunshine beamed down on the blossoms, a fragrant wind twirled around the wide-open field of cool, green grass.
